Considered by many to be one of, if not the finest producer of sparkling wine in Spain, the Raventos family has been making wine on their estate in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia for over 500 years. In November 2012, the family decided to leave the DO Cava and create their own more strictly defined and geographically specific appellation: Conca del Riu Anoia. It was born to create wines coming from a single estate, a specific climate, native grape varieties and a rigorous, well-defined and respectful form of viticulture.
The 2021 de Nit is a blend of 49% Xarel-lo, 34% Macabeu, 12% Parellada and 5% Monastrell. Wild strawberry, white cherry and crunchy seashells on the nose. Lively, expressive and precise on the palate, with a subtle zip of pink grapefruit. Lifted and elegant throughout, a stunning value. Certified organic.
