100% Mataró (aka Monastrell, Mourvèdre), certified organic, practicing biodynamic. Spontaneous fermentation and aging in chestnut barrels, bottled without fining or filtration.
Slightly hazy, dark purple/red color. Black cherry, sour apple, blood orange peel and sweet tobacco on the nose. Youthful and pleasantly funky. Light and racy on the palate with gentle tannins. Definitely chill this and enjoy it with your backyard cookouts!
