Founded by the Costa family in 1851, this 7 hectare estate lies on a hilltop overlooking the village of Montá, in the heart of the Roero. Here, the sandy soil composed of marine fossils are ideal for cultivating the Arneis varietal. Organic farming, hand-harvesting. Fermented in stainless steel and aged on lees for six months.
Dried pear, toasted almond on the nose with a dusting of chamomile and a chalky minerality. Those minerals dominate on the richly texured palate. Beautiful finesse, a terrific option for Chablis lovers!
