Named for their beloved long-time orchard manager, the Leroy from Metal House Cider is a blend of Idared, Cortland, Macoun and Spartan apples from a 100 y/o orchard in Esopus. Fermented with wild yeasts in stainless and aged in Coppersea Rye barrels before the secondary fermentation is kickstarted with Champagne yeast. Undisgorged, so expect some sediment. Very aromatic, tart green apple and grass, with some baking spice from the rye barrel. Bold and energetic, this is one of our favorites from Metal House.
