After traveling the world gaining winemaking experience from some notable natural wine estates, Jean-Baptiste Hardy returned to his family domaine in Mouzillon, in the heart of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, with a better understanding of the true potential of his hometown's wine. 

The Clos de Lozangère is 100% Melon de Bourgogne from massale selections planted by Jean-Baptiste's grandmother in 1950. Southern exposition with sandy loam/silt soil with gabbro subsoil. Vinified for 12 months on less with own yeast in 450L barrels, then Afterwards blended in glass-lined underground tanks for 6 months.

Deeply mineral nose, leesy and minty. Rich and textured on the palate, with layers of pear, white peach, lemon balm, frangipane. Perfectly balanced acid keeps the wine fresh through all those layers. Reminds one of white Burgundy, almost more than Muscadet.
