After traveling the world gaining winemaking experience from some notable natural wine estates, Jean-Baptiste Hardy returned to his family domaine in Mouzillon, in the heart of Muscadet Sèvre et Maine, with a better understanding of the true potential of his hometown's wine.
The Clos de Lozangère is 100% Melon de Bourgogne from massale selections planted by Jean-Baptiste's grandmother in 1950. Southern exposition with sandy loam/silt soil with gabbro subsoil. Vinified for 12 months on less with own yeast in 450L barrels, then Afterwards blended in glass-lined underground tanks for 6 months.
