Blend of 70% Grüner Veltliner and 30% Roter Traminer from a co-op of growers in Burgenland, mainly gravel soils, minerally and chalky, some with sandy clay and gravel. All certified organic.
Named for the popular hip-swiveling dance of the 60's, the Früg Orange is a delight: peach cobbler, almond brittle and geranium on the nose; a touch more savory and herbaceous on the palate, the rich texture is supported by a zippy acidity. Clean and dry throughout. And as with all the Frügs, a killer value.
