Jean-Marie Rimbert's Vin Orange is produced with organically grown Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Rolle. Fermented with native yeast and macerated on skins for 7 days, before being lightly filtered and fined with vegan-friendly pea-protein.
The result is a nose full of peach cobbler, macadamia nut, vanilla bean and gardenia. Some plush dried stone fruits on the palate, but nicely focused with citrus acidity and gentle tannins. A delightful orange wine at a terrific price.
Enjoy this versatile wine with Asian dishes, Tajine, milder cheeses, or even chocolate.
