100% Sylvaner, certified Biodynamic, from 70 year old vines. Stainless steel fermented and aged 12 months sur lie prior to bottling. Fresh honeydew melon and white peach on the nose with a lovely bouquet of tropical flowers. Very expressive fruit on the palate, with a nice mouth filling texture and a refreshing acid that keeps it from tipping over into oiliness. Wonderful energy in this Alsatian white, pair with grilled fish or lemon chicken and asparagus. Wouldn't mind meeting some smoked trout!
