100% Gamay from 40-70 year old vines planted on blue schist soil in the village of Marchampt. 5 day carbonic maceration, aged 12 months in fiberglass tanks. 

Blackberry, black olive tapenade and leather on the nose. Then the green herbs come in: thyme and bay. This wine is alive in the mouth, earthy and spicy with great energy and length.  Some fine grained tannins. Certified organic, bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur addition.
