Created with the cocktailer in mind, the Denizen Merchant's Reserve is a blend of Plummer style Jamaican rums and the Rhum Grande Arôme (molasses based) from Martinique. Aged up to 8 years in American ex-Bourbon barrels, it seeks to recreate the original rum blend in the classic Trader Vic's Mai Tai. We like the result!
