This clean, focused and elegantly layered Cru Beaujolais is produced from parcels of "young vine" Gamay (50-60 y/o) planted on granite and alluvial sands. Naturally fermented and aged in concrete tank without punchdowns or pumpovers. Expressive nose of black cherry, violet, balsamic and wet stone. Medium light in the mouth, but with quite a sturdy backbone and wonderful depth.
