Cantine Sant'Agata Ruche di Castagnole Monferrato "Il Cavaliere" 2019.

Plummy, earthy nose, with spicy notes of cinnamon and lightly tanned leather.  Geranium petal and sage. Medium body on the palate with black cherry fruit and tobacco. Needs time and some air for that fruit to develop. Firm, but giving tannin. Pinot Noir body but with some muscle. Overall a very well crafted expression of this lesser known Piedmont varietal at a good price. 280 cases produced.
