Lovely Pinot Noir Rosé from one of our favorite Sancerre producers. The Picard family has been making wines in Sancerre since the 1600s. The Rosé is is produced from 20-25 year old vines planted on clay-limestone soil. Farming is sustainable and always hand-harvested.
Ripe peach, nectarine, Meyer lemon and rose petals on the nose. The 2022 is showing beautiful fruit on the palate with vivid acidity and a pleasant chalky minerality on the lingering finish. Fantastic!
