This unoaked Tinto is all about immediate pleasure with pure, lush red fruits, spices and slate-laden minerality.
Guímaro Tinto is Pedro Rodriguez' entry-level "joven" red. From multiple plots of Mencía vines, along with a small amount of other co-planted native varieties, with an average age of 40 years. Hand-harvested, 65-75% destemmed, fermented with native yeasts in steel vats, and aged on the lees for 6 months. Fined and cold-stabilized but not filtered at bottling.
