Crunchy, spicy blend from one of the Loire Valley's most dynamic winemakers. Known more for his brilliant whites from Vouvray and Montlouis, Chidaine crafts this light bodied red from equal proportions Côt, Cabernet Franc and Pineau d'Aunis. Organic and biodynamic viticulture. Fermented and aged in stainless steel vats.
Raspberry coulis, hibiscus, tobacco and fresh thyme on the nose. Juicy on the palate with a blast of sour cherry and gentle tannins. Blood orange peel and white pepper notes linger on the finish. Fantastic value.
