The 2023 Fiction Red is a blend of 23% Zinfandel, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Cabernet Franc, 16% Syrah, 8% Alicante Bouschet, 5% Lagrein, 5% Corvina, and 4% Cinsault (there will be a test later), from several sustainably and organically farmed vineyards across the Paso Robles AVA.
Inky dark color, heady aromas of blueberry pie, pipe tobacco and leather. The palate brings in notes of grilled meats, cherry cola and licorice. Medium body with firm tannins.
