100% Savagnin from the Scott Valley, in the shadow of Mt. Shasta in far northern California. Chad and Michelle Westbrook Hinds are making beautiful expressions of Alpine varietals in a converted dairy facility. Slightly hazy straw colored aspect. On the nose, lychee, bergamot, honeysuckle blossom and a hint of minerally funk. Crisp and tropical, absolutely delightful.
