Kistler Vineyards is a small, family-owned and -operated winery in the Russian River Valley specializing in the production of Burgundian-styled Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Their Chardonnay Les Noisetiers is crafted from 100% Heritage Kistler clone Chardonnay cultivated on Goldridge sandy loam soil. The fruit is hand-harvested at night. Following a long, gentle whole cluster barrel fermentation with native yeast, the wine is aged on the lees for 11 months in French oak, 35% new. Bottled without fining or filtration.
