Product Description

100% Dolcetto from Walker Vineyard, Los Olivos District AVA. Organic viticulture, hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts. 

Aromas of red cherry, balsamic, blood orange and wild mushroom on the nose, accompanied by a delicate violet floral note and a touch of mineral smoke. The palate is treated to a blast of ripe plummy fruit on the entry, followed by mint and cedar notes. A zippy acidity keeps all these layers fresh and alive. 
Founder and winemaker  Steve Clifton found that the climate and soil types in Santa Barbara County are similar to those in his favorite regions of Northern Italy, namely Piemonte and Friuli. Palmina wines are Italian by inspiration with flavors rooted in Santa Barbara County.
