Stoutridge Straight Rye Bottled-in-Bond

Another stellar creation from Steve Osborn at Stoutridge Distillery! Distilled from a mashbill of 80% Rye and 20% Corn, all from the Hudson Valley. Aged for 4 years in Hudson Valley oak barrels. 

Grilled peaches and black tea at first on the nose, then dried orange peel, cinnamon stick and black pepper. Some pleasant fresh oak aromas. Whopping mouthful of dark chocolate covered raspberries, crunchy rye spice and dusty wood. Cinnamon note continues to linger on the finish. This is a big whiskey that drinks super clean, even at 50% abv.
