This collaboration between PM Spirits and Domaine d'Espérance is distilled from a blend of Folle Blanche and Baco, and then bottled at still strength of 52.3% abv. Expressing itself more like a grape brandy than an unaged Armagnac (which it technically is), the producers decided to call it "Eau de Vie de Raisin."
Green apple and yellow plum notes dominate on the nose with a touch of lavender. The texture in the mouth is weighty and assertive, the finish long and startlingly clean. Working equally well as a cocktail base or a straight sipper, this is a bottle for the true "spirits geek."
