Organically dry farmed vineyards planted in 60s. 100% Xarel-lo (Cartoixa Blanc). Eight days of skin contact lends a deep golden hue. Spontaneous fermentation, aged 6 mo in a combination of used oak and chestnut barrels. Aromas of passion fruit, wild mint and thistle with a firm mineral core. Rich mouthful of dried stone fruit is kept lively with bracing acid and a nice white pepper note on the finish. Delicious and quite limited!
